Labor/Delivery Session - Amarillo Photographer

There was a calm that morning when the call came in. Everything about this whole experience was calming. I had been "on-call" for about a week leading up to the big day. I was so honored that Dwight and Samantha trusted me to capture this moment for them. It was a pretty big deal to me.  Thank you again Dwight and Samantha! You guys are truly blessed!

Mom and Daughter Session - Amarillo Photographer

No matter where life takes you and no matter the age of your kids, I highly recommend getting a session in every so often of you and your kids. Or you and your parents. Dads and daughters. Moms and sons....you get the idea. I have yet to be in front of the camera with my kids at times, but its scheduled for this summer. I am making it a point to have some camera time with the girls and with my son. Its a fun session and they are typically full of laughter. And those are my favorite.

I've been wanting to write about this session for a while. And words would escape me at times. Then there were times I had no pen and paper handy and words and emotions would flood my mind. So I sit here today with music blaring and thinking about my dear friend. A friend that is going thru some life altering situations.  I've known this woman since 2007. We were co-workers at one time. And we have been friends since. So my heart aches for her during this time.  When I ask for her permission to post a few on my blog, I wasn't too surprised she gave me the OK. But she did. And here I am. Taken back to the day at the railroad tracks. The day we cried and laughed together. Much needed cries and MUCH needed laughter. Vanessa, I love you dearly and cant wait until we meet again. And every time it will be easier. Thank you for trusting me to get you thru a small section of your situation. I have wine ready when ever you want to come have a drink!

Maternity Session - Amarillo Photographer

Very dear to my heart friends wanted me to capture a maternity session! I was beyond pleased to do their pictures! I've known Dwight since....umm....well....since before birth! Samantha was a beautiful pregnant woman! I was so honored to capture this moment for her and for the whole family.

Couple Session - Amarillo Photographer

I love that this job will allow me to meet new people. I love meeting new people! When I received a call to update Sanja and Randal's photos, I was pretty excited. It was a cool, crisp, fall day in Amarillo and we took great advantage of the changing trees. Theses are a few of my favorites.  Thank you again Sanja and I look forward to many more sessions with you in the future!  HAPPY FRIDAY!

My first wedding - Amarillo Wedding Photographer

October 25, 2014 I photographed my first wedding. I loved that I was able to just do my thing.   It was a very laid back wedding. Very sweet. Nothing cuter.  Sisterly love. I totally get that.  Mom and all her sweet daughters. These guys.... ....Clearly love each other  Huge, fun family The women of the wedding No matter how many weddings I ever have in the books, this will forever be my favorite. And if I ever wanted to copy it, I would feel like I was cheating on the original ;) The sweetest Dad and Daughter picture.  If I could get paid in yummy cake I would photograph 15 weddings a month!! Life size replica of their cake topper.  I may have had some tears at this point. Weddings make me cry with joy.  Sheri and Rustee, Thank you for allowing me to photograph your wedding. I was a nervous wreck that day in hopes I captured everything that you wanted me to. The
