I love weddings. Even more so that I am able to capture them on camera.  This day was amazing and the bride was beautiful. The weather calmed down a bit and everything was smooth sailing. These are just a select few of my favorite images. I ask the couple if they wanted to take some time and do a first look and they opted out. The next best idea is to get together for a prayer before the ceremony starts. It was emotional. I cried through thru the lens and it was at that point I was extremely happy to be a part of their day.  Anna and Jake, Congrats and I wish you both many many years of marriage bliss! Its a rare thing to have a night out with the hubby. Due to his work schedule, sometimes he misses all the fun stuff!  Cody Jinks is a favorite Texas Country singer of ours. Based out of Fort Worth and he tries to frequent Amarillo as much as possible. I got there early and we talked photography, Texas back roads, guitars and we drank some beer with him., It was a good night out.

There was something in the air that day. I enjoyed spending the day with this lovely couple and can not wait to be there for their big day in April. Young love is a good kind of love. There is a sweet innocence about it. Mersades and Aaron -  Thank you for allowing me to capture your love. Thank you for braving the chilly day, the light rain, and all the mud out at the Canyon! You guys were a blast to hang out with! See you in April!

My nephew turned 1 in Dec! I'm still unclear as to why anyone under the age of 3 gets presents. It's the box and tissue paper they want anyway!  ;) Happy baby and proud daddy His favorite part of the day That yummy yummy cake! My favorite of the day! HAPPY MONDAY!

These are the types of weekends that I love. They are fun and busy. Full of laughter, love and tears. But I need another day in between Saturday and Sunday.  :) Another wedding in the books and a lot of photos to edit this week!  Congratulations to Mr and Mrs Bowers! Many years of happiness your way!
